CRTs May Not be Disposed of Curbside - On April 1, 2000, the State implemented a ban on landfill or incinerator disposal of CRTs which include televisions, computers, and computer monitors, due to their high contents of lead. Since 2000, Lexington has diverted over 660,000 pounds of CRTs and electronics from disposal.

Curbside Collections of CRTs - JRM will pick up CRTs curbside by appointment. Please call them at 800-323-4285 by 3 p.m. the day before your regular trash day to have the CRTs collected on your regular trash day. |
