2008 Observed Legal Holidays
(note that 2008 is a leap year so February has 29 days)
| The Town of Lexington observes the following legal holidays.
On these holidays, town offices are closed, Lexpress does not operate
and trash and recycling collections are delayed. Curbside
yard waste collections, when applicable, are also delayed. When holidays fall on Mondays, the trash and recycling pick up for all Lexington residents will be delayed by one day. When holidays fall Tuesday through Friday, only residents whose regular trash day falls on or after that holiday will experience a one day delay in their trash and recycling collection. Saturday holidays do not impact trash and recycling collection. Please put your trash and recycling out by 7 a.m. on your designated trash day. The Hartwell Avenue Compost Facility will also be closed on all legal holidays.
